Too early to say on final UK reopening step: Health minister

A coronavirus variant first found in India is spreading across Britain and it is too soon to say whether the country can fully drop COVID-19 restrictions on June 21, health minister Matt Hancock said on Thursday.

UK failed ‘disastrously’ in COVID-19 crisis, PM Boris Johnson’s ex-chief adviser says

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson‘s former chief adviser said the government failed in the COVID-19 crisis and fell “disastrously short” of the standards the public had a right to expect during the most devastating global pandemic in decades.

UK scrambles over doubling of Indian Covid variant cases
