Kerala government orders SIT probe into ‘illegal’ tree felling in Wayanad

In view of raging controversy over the alleged illegal felling and smuggling of centuries-old rosewood trees from Wayanad by timber mafia, the Kerala government has constituted a special investigation team (SIT) to probe into the scandal and similar such cases.
